as well as properties for rent throughout the State of Florida.

.
If you're looking for property listings in Florida, one of the best places to start your search is on the Florida MLS where you can find listings of condos, villas, townhouses, single family homes, mobile homes as well as vacant land for sale.  You can search for properties by MLS ID number or by criteria that includes city, property type, price range and number of bedrooms and bathrooms.

The advanced search option lets you find listings that include your preferred minimum amount of interior square feet or even acreage/lot size as well as features such as a fireplace, central air conditioning, swimming pool or waterfront property.  The search report can include thumbnail-sized photos of properties.

By clicking on an MLS ID number within your search results, you'll be able to see more detailed property information which can include a remarks section, maintenance fees (if any), interior house features, room dimensions, community amenities and  more.  Some listings include a link to a virtual tour.  Near the bottom of the listing details you'll find the contact information for the listing agent/brokerage.

Currently, the Florida MLS allows you to view your search results in 29 languages!  Simply click on the languages pull-down menu (located near the top center of the page) to perform your search in the language option you choose.

Need a place to rent?  The site allows you to do a rental search that lets you narrow down your search results based on a variety of criteria including pet-friendly rental properties, smoking/non-smoking properties, type of waterfront and date availability.  You can even search for Florida seasonal/vacation rentals!

Considering investing in Florida real estate? Now is the time to buy as mortgage interest rates are at historically low levels and many good buys can be found throughout the state. Due to current market conditions, you'll find many listings of short sales and foreclosure properties.  The Florida MLS also allows you to search for multi-family and commercial properties.

In need of the professional services of a local Realtor?  You can use the same website to find one by first/last name, company name, by the cities they service, the type(s) of real estate services they specialize in, or even by the language they speak.

Want to keep up with the latest Florida real estate news?  Be sure to check out Florida Realtors' Media Center where you'll find timely articles published on a regular basis.  Check out their news release archive.  One of the most useful links for anyone wanting to keep a pulse on changes in the Florida real estate market is their archive of existing home sales statistics from 1994 to the present which cover approximately 20 regions throughout the state.
